Terms of Service

Last updated: July 12, 2026

Welcome to prettyuglycollective.com (the “Site”), operated by Pretty Ugly Tattoos (“Pretty Ugly Collective,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) in Charlotte, North Carolina. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Using the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, security, or other visitors’ use of it. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

Inquiries and bookings

Submitting the inquiry form or messaging us is a request to be contacted. It is not a confirmed appointment. Appointments are only confirmed after we have reviewed your request, agreed on details, and received any required deposit, as described in our Studio & Booking Policies. All services are subject to those policies.

Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including designs, photographs of tattoo and permanent makeup work, artwork, text, logos, and the “Pretty Ugly” name and branding — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, reuse, or distribute any of it, including our designs and artwork, without our prior written permission.

No guarantee of results

Tattooing and permanent makeup are performed on living skin, and outcomes vary from person to person based on skin type, healing, aftercare, and other factors. We do not guarantee specific results, healing outcomes, color retention, or longevity. Photographs on the Site show past work and are not a promise of identical results.

Health and safety

Our services are body-modification procedures that carry inherent risks. Detailed health requirements, consent, and aftercare responsibilities are covered in our Studio & Booking Policies and in the consent forms you sign in person before any procedure.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pretty Ugly Tattoos and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to book or receive tattoo services. Valid government-issued photo ID is required at your appointment.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
